I know this is probably a HUGE mistake ;-) but,
a number of you mentioned you had things you would like to see in the projected Tortall companion.

Well, now might be a good time. WAIT!!!!!

DO ME A FAVOR. Check the entries previous to yours to see if someone else has already made the suggestion you're about to make. If someone has, just add "me, too" or something like it so we know there's a demand for that thing.

Remember I'm still working on MASTIFF and this will go easier if I don't have to wait through a thousand posts!

But seriously, suggest what you would like to see. We can't promise anything, but we'll listen!

I, personally, would love a section on Tortallan/regional neighbours' folklore and religions. Who are the heroes they tell stories about? What do parents use to scare their kids into behaving (like modern parents use the boogeyman)?

And

A brief touch on the political structures and histories of neighbouring lands - eg. how did Carthak become an empire in the first place, do Galla and Maren have kings or rulers with other titles, has Sarain always been ruled by Warlords? That kind of stuff.

YES. THIS. I want to hear more about the legendary heroes of Tortall (and not just Tortall, but Carthak and Galla and Scanra (OMG especially Scanra) and the Yamani and Kyprish Islands).
Political structures, yes. Religious info on the gods and goddesses--who's the Smith god, for instance? In countries where they have their own separate gods (The K'mir with the Horse Lords, for instance), do they recognize also the domain of Mithros?
More about the ethnic groups of each country, please!
