Thought I'd share

I've been working my fingers off on EXILE, with only a few breaks (seriously! I'm now on wireless internet out of my computer, and spend half of the day with the wireless device pulled out of the socket!), and I've been feeling guilty about neglecting everyone while I spend some of my free time on Tumblr and Pinterest. Thus, I thought I'd share this link, that makes me feel a little better about the *&^%#%$@!!! snow coming down outside of my window, about a dolphin with fishing line around its fin and a man with scissors. I used to do this very thing, only with air, and pigeons.

This is beautiful. As a note to everyone: dolphins are sometimes caught along with tuna, particularly yellow-fin tuna. If you're buying tuna, look for a "dolphin-safe" seal which demonstrates that the tuna were caught in a manner that minimizes dolphin casualties (although, sadly, at this time there are still many other species that are caught along with the tuna and this has an environmental impact). Dolphin also do not normally swim with skipjack tuna so this type is generally thought more dolphin-friendly.

This was amazing. The dolphin clearly knew he was being helped.

And we're happy to have you working on Exile. The sooner it is done, the sooner we get to read it!

That just lifts the heart! Good luck with dealing with all that snow; it seems winter has a vengeance against the north this year!

Do you have a public tumblr account that you'll share with us? :)

Seeing that I think I've been waiting for Exile since I was 15 or so, I'm really cool with whatever you wanna do. :3

No guilt! Just letting us know you're alive & well makes us happy. Letting us know you're alive and well and writing makes us bounce in anticipatory glee.

Ugh. Winter. This storm was all the worse for coming right after the first real thaw (at least in WNY).

Hoping EXILE is going well!

"For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons."

Don't know why this particular Douglas Adams quote came to mind, but it still seems awfully applicable.

Also, new book? Numfar! Do the Dance of Joy!
